Who is the Regional Lead TA and HR?

Regional Lead – TA and HR are individuals who will manage talent acquisition, onboarding and employee lifecycle management of the geographic region assigned. The candidate must be someone who has  experience in working with the full spectrum of human resource operations, recruitment process, employer branding and onboarding. They must have a sharp eye for identifying talented candidates and must be able to acquire them for the company.

What does a Regional Lead do?

The main objective of Regional Lead is to find, recruit and retain talented candidates from the candidate pool created by them. The Regional Lead works closely with the central TA and HR team and with the regional team to acquire the best talent available in the market. They are responsible for overseeing the talent acquisition and recruitment process, the Onboarding process, employer branding process, the campus connects with its overall planning and execution and supports employee development and growth. Regional Leads have the  autonomy to design their strategies to ensure that the regional TA and HR requirements and goals are achieved  team is producing the best results.

He / She will also be the owner of TA and HR activities in the assigned geography and will be the face of the company in all campus connect and campus recruitment programs. Duties and responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and execute sustainable talent acquisition strategies in the region.
  • Work with the central TA team and get updated staffing requirements.
  • Organize employee referral programs.
  • Plan campus recruitment drives with PE colleges.
  • Execute campus recruitment drives.
  • Source and screen candidates in the region
  • Conduct interviews and prepare interview questionnaires.
  • Review the hiring process for bottlenecks.
  • Track recruitment metrics and KPIs
  • Keep infant mortality of employees to a minimum.

Campus Connect

  • Connect with PE colleges in the region for campus connect programs.
  • Manage campus engagement across the year – Plan for workshops, online sessions, on-the-job training, teaching sessions, internships etc.
  • Conduct alumni connect – Sportz Village employees (alumni) connect to current students to share their career stories at Sportz Village.

Human Resource

  • Support HR-related work in the region.
  • Ensure all onboarding is completed by new employees in the given timeline.
  • Assist employees in getting documentation done.
  • Enhance the employer brand of the company.
  • Work as HR buddy for new employees.
  • Employee lifecycle management
  • Grievance management
  • Present reports for the management team.
  • Ensure a high rate of morale in the team and reduce attrition.

Training and Development

  • Conduct training sessions on HR processes and procedures.
  • Conduct statutory training for employees (ASA, ASH, Code of Conduct)
  • Coordinate and support the central training team to conduct development programs for employees.
  • Support regional business team for any activities or events.

Key requirements

  • Minimum – Bachelor’s degree (PE or Non-PE) (Bachelors/master’s degree in HR or HR-related courses will be an added advantage)
  • Physical Education background will be an added advantage.
  • 2+ years of experience as Team support, TA lead, Program manager or HR lead
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in people management
  • Experience in the onboarding process.
  • Experience in overall recruitment process and its methods.
  • Experience in HR operations.
  • Knowledge of employer branding trends and techniques
  • Knowledge about ATS, Recruitment Marketing tools, and HRIS.
  • Knowledge of the Human Resources laws and regulations
  • Passion for sports, games, and activities
