When is the event starting and how long will it be held?

a. The Polycom Corporate 20-20 CrickFest will start from Feb 2nd 2008 onwards till the Mid of March 2008

What is the format for the Polycom Corporate 20-20 CrickFest

a. A League + Knock out format will be followed in the Polycom Corporate 20-20 CrickFest

b. All the participants will be divided into Pools of 3 teams each. The 3 teams in each Pool will play 1 match each against each other & then play the Knock out matches based on their rankings

c. The Polycom Corporate 20-20 CrickFest offers 3 Cups for the participating teams –

i. The Champions Cup for the league toppers

ii. The Premier Cup for the 2nd ranked teams in the league

iii. The Challengers cup for the 3rd Ranked teams in the league

What are the rules of the tournament?

a. A detailed rules document will be emailed to you following your confirmation. The same is also available on the event website on www.sportzvillage.com

When will the matches be held?

a. The matches will be held on all weekends - Saturdays & Sundays

How many games will a team have to play?

a. Each team will have to play a minimum of 3 games – 2 in the league phase & minimum 1 in the Knock out phase.

What is the schedule for the tournament?

b. The actual match schedule for each city will be sent to you 5 to 7 days prior to the 1st day of the tournament.

What the awards for the winners?

a. The winners for each of cup will be provided with elegant Trophies

How many members can participate in a team

a. Each participating team has to register a team of 14 members (11 playing members & 3 substitutes)

Will transportation be provided?

a. No. transportation will have to be borne by the team themselves.

What are the medical facilities provided during the event?

a. First aid care will be provided on ground during the matches. Contact numbers of doctors on call, ambulance services & hospitals in the near vicinity will also be available with the respective venue in charge during the matches

Can our channel partners/ suppliers/ dealers be a part of our team?

a. No. They should belong to the company. You can have part-time employees participating though.
